Recycling electronic waste
Every year, millions of items of electronic equipment are thrown out, adding to Europe’s waste mountain. Under a new EU law, manufacturers will have to restrict the amount of toxic substances found in these products and environmentally- damaging goods will have to be recycled. Belgium has emerged as a trend-setter in this field.
