Next month, a new video will be released about “Green Infrastructure”, a strategically planned network of high-quality green spaces and environmental features. With around 80% of the EU’s population now living in towns or cities, taking care of the green infrastructure that breathes life into urban and rural habitats has never been more important. Achieving thriving biodiversity is vital to addressing numerous challenges, from climate change adaptation to long-term economic stability.

According to a European study, Slovakia had the second highest rate of youth unemployment in 2010 with 32.6%. Terezia Madarova is 29 year old. When she lost her job 10 years ago, she found herself unsure of what to do next. She decided it was a great opportunity to start her own modelling and casting agency. The young woman made her first steps in her one room apartment: she bought a computer, a camera and started taking pictures of her friends. Nowadays she’s the owner of one of the largest agencies in Central Europe.
