Do we really know the Roma? International Roma Day raises the question

Between ten and twelve million Roma live in the European Union today, the majority suffering extreme levels of social deprivation leading to a public perception usually based on ignorance, prejudice and stereotyping. This film shows that another reality is emerging, that Roma are integrating into society at all levels, setting an example to their community and thereby helping to change negative preconceived opinions.
