Green infrastructure – Building blocks of modern life

Next month, a new video will be released about “Green Infrastructure”, a strategically planned network of high-quality green spaces and environmental features. Achieving thriving biodiversity is vital to addressing numerous challenges, from climate change adaptation to long-term economic stability.

Improving organ donation and transplantation in Europe

Organ transplantation is sometimes the only effective treatment for patients suffering of serious pathologies. Nonetheless, according to a survey commissioned by the European Commission, the number of organ donors from one country to another varies from 2 to 35 donors per million inhabitants. Therefore, depending on where they live, European patients do not have an equal chance to benefit from a transplantation.
