FAQ Intro

What kind of videos are available on the website?

In the context of the 2010 European Year and beyond, we produced a series of video clips highlighting success stories for combating poverty and social exclusion in the EU Member States as well as in Iceland and Norway. Adding to these there is a video clip on EU policies for combating poverty and social exclusion, and two VNRs one on child poverty and another on microfinance.

The material is composed of:

  •  Edited story with commentary (EN)
  •  International sound-version, without commentary
  •  Selected rushes (B-Roll)
  •  Full script (EN) with translations of interviews

Why use our video reports?

  •  Quality: they provide ready-to-use material produced by TV professionals for TV professionals
  •  Flexibility: their content and format are adaptable by all types of programmes (news, magazines)
  •  Choice: they offer good pictures, clear graphics and interviews with key personalities
  •  EU dimension: filmed accross the EU as well as Iceland and Norway, they add a pan-European dimension to your own national coverage

What are the restrictions for using the videos?

The reports are available to all interested journalists and televisions channels completely free of charge and copyright.
