Next month, a new video will be released about “Green Infrastructure”, a strategically planned network of high-quality green spaces and environmental features. With around 80% of the EU’s population now living in towns or cities, taking care of the green infrastructure that breathes life into urban and rural habitats has never been more important. Achieving thriving biodiversity is vital to addressing numerous challenges, from climate change adaptation to long-term economic stability.
The TVLINK Europe is a video on-line distribution platform designed to meet the needs of audiovisual journalists by helping them to provide better coverage of European issues. The site enables journalists to illustrate European subjects through the distribution of video reports that can be obtained directly on-line. These video reports are also accompanied by a full description of the images used in each film, transcripts of the commentary and interviews.
The TVLink Europe site enables journalists to view (via video streaming) the various video features on offer. If the subject is of interest, TVLINK can facilitate an easy and efficient transfer of broadcast quality and webcast digital video files directly to newsrooms and journalists in the field. Journalists can also request a copy in professional format (Betacam SP or DVCam).
The videos are available to journalists and TV channels free of charge and copyrights.
The TVLINK web-site is managed by Mostra, an agency based in Brussels and specialised in audio-visual production
In collaboration with the European institutions, Mostra offers a full support service to TV and radio journalists covering European news and issues. Our agency produces around 40 video news reports per year.
We offer the following services:
- Distribution of video material (broadcast quality digital video files or tapes in professional format)
- Timely delivery of Media Alerts by e-mail informing journalists about new video reports
- Provision of background information packs with a direct link to video reports on the TVLink Europe site
